Did you know that there is no such thing as a licensed realtor in Belize? It does not exist. Someone could decide to become a realtor tomorrow, open a business, and start selling property on the island. There are many differences between buying property in the US and buying property here in Belize. We don’t say this to discourage you from purchasing a property as there are several safety nets in place that allow for smooth, safe purchasing; but we do want you to be aware that there are people leading scams throughout Belize. Contrary to what most people think, there is no MLS here in Belize.  You can’t go to a Real Estate website and find an inclusive list of everything available on the island.  You can try to view the 20+ real estate websites to look through the properties but without knowing the benefits and drawbacks of the different locations on the island, this is often wasted effort.  Our agents live on this island, travel the island and talk with our neighbors to find the best investment opportunities on Ambergris Caye.  We work to educate you about the island and about the market so you can make an informed decision of what you want and then we will help you find the right property for your needs.
